Another Day in Paradise covers the local expatriate social scene, offers articles on important legal matters in addition to cultural insights, and provides an invaluable community classifieds section. The magazine is paid for via advertisement and is available for free (!) at selected businesses around Zihuatanejo. Or, you can do what I do, and get your copy straight from the editor when you join her for dinner!
just the facts, ma'am: the magazine is available for subscription for people not in Zihua. Cost is $35/ year to anywhere in Mexico, the US, or Canada with an additional $5 in shipping for other international addresses. Advertisement deadlines for the magazine are the 1st of each month for the following month's issue.
don't miss: the design and the quality of the magazine has steadily improved in the last few years as Catherine has worked to create a socially relevant resource for the community.
